10-minute film captures two days of filming in Little Falls and an unforgettable performance at Rock Valley Brewing Company

LITTLE FALLS, NY — A new 10-minute documentary following rising country music artist Ava Bently has been released, offering viewers an intimate look at the woman behind the music during a visit to Little Falls, New York.

Filmed over the course of two days, the project combines a candid on-camera interview with cinematic footage captured throughout the city, along with highlights from Bently’s June 11 performance at Rock Valley Brewing Company. The documentary explores her musical journey, creative process, challenges, aspirations, and the experiences that continue to shape her as an artist.

The film was produced by David E. Warner and features footage from numerous locations around Little Falls, including the Erie Canal corridor, Canal Harbor, downtown streets, local businesses, scenic overlooks, and rural settings, providing a visually rich backdrop for the story.

Performance footage from Rock Valley Brewing Company is woven throughout the documentary, creating a portrait of an artist both on and off the stage.

The release follows Bently’s recent visit to Little Falls, where she performed for local fans and explored the community. During her stay, she described the city as “absolutely picturesque and lovely,” reflecting on both the warmth of the people she met and the lessons she learned from performing live.

Rather than focusing solely on music, the documentary centers on the artist’s personal side. Through a series of thoughtful conversations, Bently discusses how music became a central part of her life, what inspires her songwriting, the realities of building a career in the music industry, and what she hopes audiences take away from her work.

“This project was designed to tell the story behind the songs,” said producer David E. Warner. “People see the performance, but they rarely get the opportunity to hear an artist talk honestly about the journey, the challenges, and the dreams that keep them moving forward. Ava was incredibly open throughout the process, and that authenticity comes through in the final film.”

The documentary also captures a pivotal moment in Bently’s career. Following her Rock Valley performance, she reflected on the challenges of solo live performance and the importance of continually growing as an entertainer, insights that became an important part of the film’s narrative.

The completed documentary is now available online and below and serves as both a personal profile of Ava Bently and a behind-the-scenes look at an artist determined to turn a lifelong passion into a lasting career.
